A walk along the banks above the shore of Ballyhornan

Begin at the Ballyhornan Beach Car Park on the Killard Road. Follow the Steps down to the beach and walk onto Rock Road. Head towards The Square and join the path beside the Scout Centre. At the end of the route take the steps and follow the Lecale Way back to the beach.

This walk was developed by local resident Pat Fitzsimons. Highlights along the route include: unrivalled view over Guns Island, and butterflies.

Stick to the designated path. There is a sheer drop down the bank.
